watched this @ Yishun GV - zi li's birthday gathering. was there with ervin and company - aloy, jason, erv, jsutin, zi li, jonathan, ck, zen. had lunch at the japanese food court in northpoint before heading to the theatres. pretty nice film, but i find that the story is going slightly fast and the intro was pretty messy. overall i think it's still nice.

i think this show is more for 刘亦菲's & 古天乐's fans. story wise, i still like the trilogy version from the 1980s. and the scholar in this film is like some random ah tiong~ >.<"

hell yea. watched this before it was even released in the theatres. ripped it from ervin's parents when they bought it from msia. love how fast these nice movies were released. say yes to piracy! lols.

eww. don't be fooled by the trailer. this movie wasn't nice. or at least to me. wasted my time watching on my ipod grr.

the blueray rip for this came out pretty fast and i finished torrenting it in a day. action-packed film with a little romance added. hoping for sequels in the future.

Sexy Teacher aka Who Slept With Her. definitely must watch. damn lol throughout the whole film.

Mousehunt Easter Event was fun!

collect and collect and collect eggs! all of them look so cute!
although some of them are pretty hard to catch and needs to use my sb+, i still managed to get most of them til the last day. eggs are smashable and most will give you sb+ but i still decided to keep it - they're just too cute to be smashed!

the only eggs that i failed to collect are these 3. the red one's due to insufficient rank to enter the area. think prolly 1 year later before i can rank up. lol.

damn. i missed out Gundam Unicorn Ep3 Screening. grrr. uber siansxz. :( i wanted to catch in on the big screen so badly, just because i watched the 1st 2 episodes in theatres. bah..at least i dled the 1080p blueray rip on my com. but still isn't satisfying enough.

going through motion every monday to friday in camp, spamming the loads of overdue movies on my itouch, sounding my mousehunt horn on facebook almost every 15 minutes, chatting and playing monopoly with my bunkmates. what to do? ord mood liao. (Y) 2 more months to freedom. 110611 here i come!

and we all landed in jail together. what are the chances man? lols.

nice nice! finally some interesting disney films like after so long. i dont usually watch disney cartoon-movies but this is one of those that are really nice imo, such as Cloudy With A Chance of Meatball and Up.

nice comedy-drama film. rachel mcadams is <3. harrison ford is really getting oldddd, compared to his indiana jones days.

not that this movie isn't nice, but i don't really like it. and the ending is like so..lame. she could finish the last dance after being stabbed, without the blood coming out of her wound. ~_~

although there are some lol scenes, i think this movie's pretty boring from my overall point of view. i watched it halfway and straight away deleted it off my ipod. ><

met up with claris @ vivo to look for daphne's birthday present. walked around a number of shops before we picked out a blueish floral dress @ forever 21. we both agreed it looks really nice, though it's kinda revealing. ><

and she passed me xy's gift to me from that time at the airport when we sent xy off. and i left it with claris as i didnt have a bag to carry it. awhile after i left, i remembered it's with claris, and told claris to bring it to me the next time we meet. ahh, xy's gone for longgg.

and we caught Battle L.A. after that. it was the last time slow before midnight, and lucky us, we managed to get our bus after the show, whch ended around 12mn. how long has it been since the last time i went to cinemas? i really don't know. lols.

the next day, met up with alvin, kenglun, claris and some other girls whom shiwan invited for daphne's birthday surprise at a cafe in plaza sing. and when daphne arrived with her bf, you could see her epic stunned face lolol. apparently she doesnt know we were there. credits to shiwan for doing most of the planning~ the cafe we were at was Tea Cozy. i wouldnt recommend the place though. >< i think the food are kinda overpriced, or rather, the food isn't up to my 'expectations' when i paid this much, compared to other cafes. and they actually charged us for cutting daphne's cake and using their plates. really wtffullofshit man. *boycott!~ boycott!~* lols. but 老天有眼, they forgot to charge 3 of our drinks, which cost almost the same as the fee they charged us for consuming the cake at their place, around $18 if i remember correctly. haiyo, really nonsense man, 1st time seeing a cafe charging its customers for consuming a birthday cake.

shortly after that, we went over to ruiqin's blardy far house at yishun for his birthday party. buffet + catching up. eating cake and waiting half an hour plus for the bus to yishun mrt. ~_~

and alvin's already left for taiwan for training. for a month! :(

totally love this show. recently downloaded season 1 of the series and spammed finish all 25 episodes over 3 days. but like most other animes, the 1st season is always better than the sequels. season 2's still ongoing, cant wait that long. decided to read the manga scans instead over at mangareader.

and i was wondering how could i have missed such a nice anime last time?! not to mention the art also caught my attention.

went for my physio appointment yesterday and my physiotherapist made me run on the elliptical bike. at 1st the machine was at level 5 and she asked if it was easy. got my reply and seeing the look on my face, she guessed as much, and increased bit by bit till i felt that it was a little bit taxing on my calf muscles at level 12.

since i m kinda free and my parents are out, decided to do something constructive before i get back to camp. :O

Chocolate Mint Cookies. its real easy to make actually. just go to any supermarket near your place and get a packet of Betty Crocker's Cookie Mix. NTUC didn't have the plain one so i had no choice but to get the chocolate chip cookie mix. it contains the cookie mix and "over 300 chocolate chips inside!" as stated on the cover. ==" gotta sieve out the chips from the cookie mix.

there. the betty crocker chocolate chip cookie mix.

and so the sieving begins.

sieved out the chips and some of the impurities from the mix and further separated the 2, since i will most likely keep the chips for use next time and chucking away the impurities.

Chopped Andes Mint Chocolate. cant seem to find the Creme de Menthe Baking Chips from Andes, so i took this as a substitute.

Chocolate Chunks. any type to your personal preference would be fine. i used the cadbury dark chocolate, the one with the 70% Cocoa printed on the cover.

this is all the ingredients you need.

-2¾ tablespoons butter/margarine
-½ egg
-⅓ cup chocolate chunks (can increase to ½ cup if you'd like more choco chunks in your cookies)
-⅓ cup creme de menthe andes baking chips (in my case, andes mint chocolates, chopped)
-½ teaspoon peppermint flavouring or peppermint extract (more if you like it to have a more 'minty' flavour)
-190g betty crocker cookie mix

first, you mix the egg and cookie mix and the peppermint flavouring into a dough. it would be sticky and abit wet. then you add in the choco mints and the choco chunks and mix well.

next, use a teaspoon to scoop up a bit of the mix and place it on ungreased cookie sheet. preheat the oven to around 170-180°C before putting in the cookies. bake for around 8minutes, take out and cool for 3minutes before removing it from the cookie sheet.

and there. its actually pretty nice. haha. if you don't like mint, you can leave out the mint portions and add in almond nuts and flavouring instead i guess, or any other alternatives.

birthday dinner @ Kushinbo Great World City with my wonderful bunkies. yup, it's these guys. they're my best pals and plays a big part in my army life. talking cock, going through shits and politics together. hang in there, ORD in a few more months. woohoo!~

decided to have a dinner together for my birthday with the guys so weiming asked me to plan where to go eat. after much thinking, kushinbo @ great world was the place, ulu and peaceful. had very filling dinner. and most of them came late. luckily, me and weemeng went for the kill first, followed by fatboy. poor simon tio sabo, because ben took a nap and woke up late. :X
me and weemeng were like making fun of weiming's nightmare in christmas earring when he reached. lol.

you sure picked a good way to recycle those stupid army newsletters. lol.
and it was a HGFC God Gundam, to pair up with my Nobell. and i finished both God and Nobell in 2 days. lol.

alvin cooked us spaghetti, although it was kinda salty but it taste great. but i think he broke the noodles while they're still in solid state or he used too much force to stir, cracked pieces of spaghetti that looks lik mee goreng in western style. HAHA~ had a great time doing some catching up to see how each of us are doing, especially ruiqing and norris who just finished bmt.

xy and ben came at a later time. and she bought these 3 pieces of super yummy cakes from Da Paolo Gastronomia. tiramisu, strawberry mousse cake and chocolate fudge cake(or whatever it's called, it had alternate layers of chocolate & chocolate cake).

and i was playing black ops on alvin's ps3 with ashton when suddenly they brought out the cake. they really caught me by surprise even though i saw the cake in the fridge earlier. lol~ totally love you guys man. ❤

yes yes. this über nice and tasty cheeeeeese cake yq and the guys picked up from secret recipe. it's really, really delicious. and totally killed us all because it's too filling.

and it's so free and boring that i have totally gone into movie and drama spamming while clearing up my model kit backlogs, everyday for over a week now. even dled those old epics movies in blueray ripped and watched them, like LOTR trilogy, avp 1 & 2, bourne trilogy.

Time Traveller: The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. a jap movie that came out last year around march if i'm not wrong. the story tells about a girl who went back in time in place of her mum to convey her message to a guy in the past whose from the future. and along the way blah blah blah..shan't go into details. it's a must watch.

Toki o Kakeru Shoujo aka The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (時をかける少女)
watched the 2006's anime version after watching the 2010's live-action. the story's different between those 2 films. i liked the anime version very much. the art and events in this anime doesn't have those fancy effects and i don't think you will enjoy it unless you take that extra effort to 'immense yourself into its world'. it's really simple. and a really nice slice-of-life movie that shouldn't be missed.

Secret Garden! finally finished it. dled after the series ended in late jan. dun really like to dl ongoing series since i have to wait awhile before the next episode's out. omg this is so so sooooo nice and not to be missed. funny, romantic, touching and super nice, and it will keep u going until the very last episode.

dling this series again in 1080p. painful 43gb, but worth it for a superb drama. a great reason to rewatch it. watched the special episode as well - interview with the casts, and ng scenes. kinda lol.

got bored and decided to pack up my room. my gundam kit boxes to be precise. found my 1/100 00 Designer Color Ver. and decied to do a little bit of mod to the broken part of the O Raiser.

a picture of the left wing. the red area is the part of the right wing which was broken. and the blue area is the area i trimmed off for the mod. the reason for trimming off the blue area at the bottom is to make space for the small pla piece i will be cementing it to, so there will be more points of contact, meaning the bond after cementing would definitely be stronger.

before the mod, using the left wing for comparison.

did some cutting here and there, made a small pla piece and cemented it to the broken area. and voilà~

tested out and it worked like magic. it's even better than the original state - when i attached it on to the kit, it actually had those kinda firm 'tiak' sound. happy happy~ just like how i always feel when my mods worked out fine.

starting to clear my download folder which is so full of movies. watched these 2 film based on nicholas sparks's novel. his books are totally nice (Y).

both movies are as sad, romantic and tragic, and definitely a must watch for all nicholas sparks's fan. as usual, sad ending, but it definitely carries the message across to the audiences. i preferred message in a bottle though. don't know why, but it appeals to me more than the one by richard gere and diane lane.

oh yea this sequel of step up is one of the best! (Y) too bad i missed it in the cinemas. oh yea, and the pretty female lead's going to star in the Blue Crush 2 coming soon.

dled the blueray rip of this, so i rewatched it, while testing the quality. still remembered watching this with yq and company in theatres. this is one of those movie that you could watch it a few times and won't get bored of, and the minions are so lol.

this is totally a not to be missed for those jennifer anistons fans, another nice romance comedy film after The Bounty Hunter.

got invited over to erv's place for a christmas feast. went there since early afternoon with laptop. got Monster Hunter Portable 3 from him as well. slacked till dinner time where his aunts and uncles came. didnt see them for a long time too! enjoyed the feast very much! turkey, bread, chilli crab, salads. totally awesome! thanks for the meal!

didn't update for quite sometime, so here i go...

went for a surgery on 30th Nov. an arthroscopy on my right hip.

woke up @ 530, reported to CGH early in the morning @ 730, just to be told by the nurse that my queue was delayed to the 3rd in queue. registered with my parents and i headed to the friggin' cold waiting room while they left. was stuck in the damn room for like an hour before heading to my ward which was just finished preparing. at about 3pm, a nurse came to me and told be to be ready for the surgery. off we go~

being pushed from place to place within the hospital for like 15mins++. stopped at this place where they had to do some pre-op registration before moving off to the surgery room. the operation theatre is kinda cold, really cold.

waited for 10mins+ before proceeding further into the operating theatre. a little bit of preparation before my anaesthesia doctor told me she would be doing a anaesthesia infusion.
saw her connecting in the infusion tube to the needle on my arm. i can actually feel the surge of the fluid through my veins.

Anaesthesia Doctor: "Chun Yik, i'm gonna give you the anaesthesia now. You're going to sleep in a while."
Me: "Ooo. Ok"
-anaesthesia fluid flowing into me-
Me: "Bye-bye!"
Anaesthesia Doctor: "Haha, bye-bye."

and i could hear the other doctors laughing just before i KO-ed.

woke up a few hours later in the night. and the pain was like OMG ITS FUCKING PAIN when i just woke up. the nurse offered me morphine but i rejected. so she pushed me back to the ward and gave me a lighter painkiller. morphine is really not good for the body.

parents and sis came to visit me by the time i was pushed into the ward. and i was super thirsty. the nurse warned me about taking too much water, asking me to take sips, if not i would puke due to the medicines and anaesthetics i took earlier during the op. i drank a sip at first. but the water was just too delicious that i drank the whole cup. ==

thank god i asked my sis to get me a kidney basin beforehand. and i puked everything out. eewww. they left after awhile since it's already past visiting hours.

found it quite hard to sleep, although its an air-conditioned ward. probably because of the pain. only fell asleep after being too tired.

the next 2 days was quite boring in the hospital. luckily i had my ipod touch with me to spam my family guy episodes. lol. and dad, mum and sis came to visit me over these 2 days in the hospital. and yay! finally got discharged after 3d2n stay in hospital.

had a bit of difficulty bathing for awhile, but oh well, bathing's not a problem now i guess.

headed over SITEX 2010 at expo with ervin and justin before going to hag. met up with zen a while later. zen got his GT5 PS3 version from the qisahn outlet, and i saw my ord spec jeremy there too, looking good definitely.

got a A4Tech X6-60D to replace my current same model which was 2 years old. still good but wanted to get a new one just in case the old one broke down. i didn't see any x6-60D around for the the past year of IT Fairs, and i thought it was out of production. luckily this time, the A4Tech shop actually had around 4 pieces of this mouse, so i just grabbed one and go. it's a really good and durable mouse, not to mention i previously spilled a cup of soft drink over it, dismantled it, dried and screwed it back, and it still works perfectly. rofl.

for a mouse with a very good grip and feel, works on 90% of surfaces and as it says, it really works on glass(test personally), $22 is actually quite a good deal. the online review actually gave it a 5/5 too!

my 2nd hoot was the Western Digital Elements 1tb 3.5" external hdd. both my 500gb 2.5" are running out of space with all my backup documents and movies, dramas, anime. lol. 1tb for $100($99.90 actually). wanted to get a 2.5" at first but then again, since i already have 2 2.5" ones and am also not intending to bring it out, why not getting a 3.5", which is cheaper. external hdd is getting cheaper and cheaper every year. $100 for 1tb = $1 for 10gb = $1 for 13 dvdrip movies/2 bdrip movies. lol.

got bored at home so i decided to spam a recent new anime - Highschool of The Dead, H.o.T.D. not very bad, blood, gore, slice and dice. but kinda too ecchi, other wise it would be a much better anime. suitable for those horny gias. lol.

synopsis from MyAnimeList:

having block leave for a week. went for Gundam Unicorn OVA private screening at bugis. got HG 00Q last week, in order to get a ticket for the private screening of Gundam UC Ep 2.

review for this kit from toriko. this kit is just too awesome. but not as awesome as the MG version of this guy previewing at BHG. total cool shit. looks much cleaner and smarter than 00.

Gundam UC Ep 2 - The Red Comet. the long awaited sequel after almost half a year from the 1st episode. blueray disc will be out in Nov. hoping for some good rips from bss fansub even though i watched it in theatres. i want episode threeeeeee!!!!!!!!! Gundam UC series is just too interesting. i'm such a sucker for gundam and gunpla. ❤

ervin talked me into taking part in the lucky draw event, which is applicable only to those who have the screening tickets, saying it was worth a shot. didn't wanna participate at first after seeing so many ppl signing up for it. so there, went on ahead with him to sign up for the lucky draw, and lol...was about to get ready to leave when they were calling out for the last name since its the top prize, and didn't expect my named to be called.

thanks to ervin, i won the top prize of the lucky draw - an MG Sinanju, which worth a hundred bucks. kinda shiok, although i already have this kit, but it'ts the feel of winning the top prize in a lucky draw that matters. sadly, ervin didn't win anything. :x then there's this big plump kid we saw at HAG who came over to me and went, 'you damn heng la, won the mg sinanju..'. other than 'yea, haha', what could i have said. rofl.

Legend of The Fist. nice action but the storyline isn't that great. booo.

Hana Yori Dango Final, finally. watched this after so many donkey years. marks the end of Hana Yori Dango series. watched for the sake of finishing it though, as you know, drama SPs aren't very nice. kinda like a erm..half a filler to me.

so so only bah. though there are some funny scenes as well as nice action scenes. hollywood movies are getting more crappy as time goes by.

nothing to say except for a word: SUCKS, period. thank god i didn't waste money to watch it in theatres.

edit: manfred corrected himself, it was Bad Love or smth that sucked. gosh he sure knows his titles lol. this drama is great, sad thing is that the male lead did not get together with the female lead. shan't go into details. recommended to watch definitely.

before he went off, we decided to hold a farewell dinner for him. walked around vivo aimlessly before settling down @ Dian Xiao Er.

the rest had this ramdom soup with mixed veggies while me and weiming ordered black chicken soup for ourselves.

ordered small serving of 3 different kinds of duck. ginseng, herbal and angelica root duck. the nicest is still herbal duck. nom nom nom...

walked around vivo for awhile after dinner. and benjamin, weiming and me bought some kind of sweets.

1 for $3.50, 3 for $10. some are nice, some are too sweet, and some are too ordinary. i got lychee, passion fruit and peach. peach's too sweet, whereas lychee and passion fruit are good. especially lychee.

Synopsis:

chionged finished this drama during my duty in a day. 11 episodes + SP. very very nice. just love the show and casts, and of course the plot. although time travelling at the beginning of almost each episode is a bit too much due to repeated teleporting cut scenes BUT there weren't a single boring episode. sad to say, the ending in 11 will leave you feeling frustrated - it did not get it's hollywood ending: Rei running the taxi, screams "KENZOOOOO" while you're expecting for Kenzo to catch a glimpse of Rei in the sideview mirror, for the taxi to stop, for them to run to each other, and then insert tearful love realizations..follow by hugs & kisses…then credits. lols. all in all, it definitely is still worth the watch.

salmon mashed potatoes. tried out this recipe from a random mag i read. changed the recipe abit though. and it taste good imo.

Ingredients:
250g salmon
250g potatoes-changed to australia potatoes
2 tblspns warm milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tblspn lime rind-changed to australia lemon
1 chopped tblspn dills-changed to rosemary(planted at home)

Additional Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten
breadcrumbs
plain flour

Steps:
1. cook salmon and break into flakes.
2. cook potatoes and mash.
3. add salmon to milk, lime rinds, dills & potatoes.
4. add salt & pepper to taste. (in my case i use black pepper)
5. refridgerate for 30mins (can put overnight if u dun wan to one shot cook finish)
6. shape to patties (or sticks or desired shape), dust in flour, dip in eggs and through breadcrumbs and fry till golden on both sides.

and...tada!

for the sauce you can add mashed hard boiled egg to mayo and lime rinds and dills or black pepper.

simple ingredients and easy to make. yum yum!

watched Iron Man 2 on friday right after book out. the show is nice but the cinema's service was damn fucked up. jackson booked tickets for us, sad to say it was eng wah @ suntec, not gv @ marina which i thought it was. and so we watched. halfway through the show, the screen blanked out. we had to wait for like 5 mins for the goddamn person to fix it up. and after every 5 mins or so the blank screen came back. a lot of people were pissed and most of them left the hall, leaving persistent people like us who tried to convince ourselves no more such shit would happen. at LEAST they didnt skip the scenes which blanked out, but it dragged the whole movie timing. there were a total of about at least 5 blank outs. super irritating. i swear i will never ever go to any eng wah cinemas anymore.

Ip Man 2 = AWESOME. action all the way. far much better than iron man 2. however the ending is kinda lame, with the appearance of a lame ass kid - bruce lee. maybe they are trying to intro the fact that bruce lee's gonna be ip man's disciple, but it failed la. lol.

looking forward to prince of persia and robin hood.

watched a couple of movies in camp the past 2 weeks.

most of them are nice, except for a few. Jennifer's Body is nice and yet not nice. well yea it's a chick flick, but it still has it's interesting parts as well. as for Beowulf, i'd rather watched the other Beowulf and Grendol than this 3D animated movie. but i have to say the 3D is really well done. Bandslam, 17 again and Freaky Friday are similar in a sense, if you like either one of them, you'd like them all. 14 Blades = nice.

also spammed finished an old drama which i took from yq a looong time ago - Hana Yori Dango. loved the show. both season 1 & 2 are very nice, not draggy compared to Meteor Garden or Boys Over Flowers. most important of all, the storyline is good. watching this show really make me have a lot of thoughts. you can actually learn a lot by watching shows huh.

well, off to spam my Temptation of Wife before i gotta book in again. 30 more episodes to go. and it's friggin' nice. no doubt why it topped the view rate among the dramas mediacorp is airing.

since the rest of the company went to brunei for overseas training and luckily i wasn't involved, i had some luxury of time to relax and do my own stuffs for the week. brought in one of my model kits backlog into camp to fix it up - MG V Gundam. also watched some movies in my itouch.

quite an interesting movie but i still don't get why it won Avatar. not recommended to watch unless you have lots of free time to burn.

it's a MUST to watch this for a pet lover. goes to show how far a dog's loyalty can go. no wonder dogs are man's best friend.

one more week to go before the brunei people are back. enjoy while i can. :(

watched a few movies with my itouch in camp this week, and on the day the rest went for the navigation exercise while i stayed in camp - thanks to my dental appointment which saved my ass from going along with them, ahaha. all of them are actually quite nice. but some may not really like Up in the Air. it's just kinda like a..different kind of movie i would say.

cohesion day @ Jurong East Swimming Complex. had to wake up early just to reach there @ 7.30am. friggin' hell. made us sit there and hear the stupid nonsensical talk for like 2 hours before letting us have our lepak session. finished with slight sunburn and chlorine smell all over with eye irritations due to the loads of chlorine they put into the pool? lunch was KFC and the pitiful half-f**ked value box consists of: 1x shrooms burger without shrooms(OMFG wad a joke?), 1x random piece of chicken, 1xwhipped potato. yea that's it. and oh, thanks for not giving us any drinks.

headed over to IT Fair 2010 @ Suntec Convention with wee meng & rick. had pepper lunch for early dinner cos of the pathetic lunch. while eating, i received a confirmation sms by HAG saying the MG Unicorn Gundam SP i preordered last week was here. super excited as i finished my meal. headed over to IT Fair, shopped around and got what i wanted - Ipod Touch.

32gb @ $468. came along with emergency charger, cover and a screen protector as free gifts. the shop i bought my itouch from seemed to have the best deals among the rests. others gave like, silicon cover+screen protector+3pin charger? i'd rather take the emergency charger and buy the 3pin charger from delivery free sites like focalprice @ prolly a few bucks. yea the shop name's MultiMedia Pte Ltd. it's on 4th floor right beside nubox.

rushed over to HAG to collect my Unicorn before shop closes.

the gigantic box is just so..ahh. time to continue dismantle those gundam boxes tomorrow. making space for new boxes is just too hard. lol.

went straight to yq's hse after i booked out from the blardy camp.
on our way to al's place, i picked some stuffs up from my favourite hobby shop - some sangokuden kits and a duplica of the limited ed twin gattling gun for MG Unicorn which is no longer in production anymore.

had a delicious bowl of prawn mee soup for lunch with al, rq & yq at al's area and later on kambing soup before starting the bbq.

not forgetting a surprise from xy when she handed me a present when we were at al's place. thanks, xy! too bad xy left early with ben and didn't get to join us for bbq. hope they can hang out longer nxt time round.

had an enjoyable night bbq-ing @ alvin's hse with the rest of the guys and daphne. and keng lun & i were stunned when yq brought out a cake which daphne bought. but she had to leave cos' cinderella must be home before 12 :(, and so she wasn't there when we were having the cake thingy. thanks daphne, and next time you better stay! XD

reached sentosa just to get wet by the stupid drizzle. packed up and left for lunch @ vivo.

white dog cafe's food was very good imo, for a discounted set meal that is.
$11.80 for a soup, choice of 23 main dish and a cup of tea/coffee.

for my main dish i ordered seafood cheese baked rice and had a cup of coffee. if i were to choose, i think hong kong cafe's cheese baked rice would do much better than white dog's. and the serving size is a bit more. too hungry and forgot to take down the main dish and drinks. lol.

and i hate the way the workers echo after their manager or whoever the fuckshit is.like 1 customer comes in for lunch then the waiter will be like saying, 'hi welcome!' then the rest of the crew will goes 'HI, WELCOME!' totally irritating man.

had been great spending time with her since i booked out. watched transformers 2, went shopping and stuffs.

today in the morning she had a temporary blackout that lasted around 3mins and loss of hearing for a few secs. after she felt better i brought her to 24hr clinic and was referred to NUH. brought her there and she was told to stay there for 24hrs to be kept under observations. so far no sign of what was wrong. probably a more serious case of Orthostatic Hypotension or known as postural hypotension.

1/35 Batmobile by Bandai is cool man! superb details and design. contains uber small parts. and i mean small. lik half the thickness of a toothpick? not for beginners, turst me. and this piece of palm size plastic cost me like stinking $85. lol. but no choice. vehicle model kits are ex, especially those by Bandai because they are super detailed.

but their chrome effect sucks, and they didn't even chrome all the parts nicely la tmd. should mold it in black instead of chrome black. i had to soak all the parts for 3 full days in containers full of bleach to remove the damn chrome.

Spent the past few days airbrushing my batmobile - priming and coloring.

messed up my corridor. lol.

primed parts ready for colours. the coat of prime helps to check for error and helps to 'stick' the paint better.

handpainted the gold ring. it's nice imo. :)

done painting and assembled. time for pictures.

Decided to do some weathering to make the details stand out, and also to make it has a old/wear & tear effect. we call these effects weathering. there are a few ways to do weathering, i did mine by drybrushing. here's a tutorial for you to understand what is drybrush.

after weathering, it looks so much nicer.

in the future if i get another of this batmobile again i would know what are the areas to look out for, as i have broken a few parts, lol. but luckily i fixed it back.

and i still have to say it's friggin' cool man!

met up at alvin's house after we all had dinner, and his dad fetched us to the place where we were supposed to take the coach. the bus trip was long. and i meant LONG. at least 10 hours bus ride with 2 breaks in between. zzz. i couldnt even sleep until almost daybreak.i only slept for like 1 hour plus on the bus? lol. staring outside the window and looking at the time every now and then.

Day 2(4/4/2009)

finally reached the jetty after the torturous bus ride.

waited for around 20-30mins before the boat arrived to pick us up to Redang Island.

look at the kopi zui (咖啡水). yucks.

the waters ahead of us were very choppy. see the wave far in front? x_x

yea and we got splashed. me and alvin's were the worst cos we sat in the front. -.- half of our bodies were wet, my left half and his right half. lol. heng my viewty didn't tio much water man. if i took the picture a bit later my viewty would have died, but the picture would have been more zai. lol. shifted from the small boat to a ferry after around 10mins.

finally reached Pulau Redang after spending 1 hour travelling on waters.
checked in, unpacked, rented snorkling goggles and headed for lunch.

after lunch, slacked for awhile before heading over to the waters for a swim with our snorkling goggles! saw silver monos and rabbitfishes.

fooled around till dinner and went back to our room. watched Longest Yard on yongquan's laptop. next was Infernal Affairs but i turned in early. was starting to fall sick as i had not enough sleep. dammmm.

Day 3(5/4/09)
woke up for breakfast at 8+, and we went for snorkling at 9+. freaking cold man. rained + cold winds. swam over to the ferry which was supposed to fetch us to the snorkling point. even more cold due to our wet bodies.

after around 15mins we reached. and woo, me and AJ jumped into the water first. 1st thing i thought to myself was 'HOLY SHIT'. freaking nice and cool sight under water. the corals, the fishes. saw 1 uber big needlefish resting near the coral bed. at least 1 metre long la; harmless but looks freaky. looks so big that we called it the papa needlefish. lol. damn damn damn nice. the corals were like 2 storeys' height below you. water was so clear that you could see what's on the seabed when you are floating on the surface looking down. before we left the place, some of us took off our life jackets and swim down abit. the feeling was dam shiok, the corals were almost so close to you. totally different when you were looking downwards while floating.

left the place after almost 1hour of fun, heading back for lunch. damn, i'm gonna miss that place.

the food sucks. yea and i mean it. sucks till i'm thinking 'wtf? i paid so much for this crappy food?'. after lunch, we had another snorkling session at another place.

the 2nd place in my opinion wasn't better. the corals wasn't as nice and the underwater current was strong. but there were ALOT more fishes. you can see like hundreds of silver monos & damselfishes swimming around you. i'm not joking, really hundreds. haha. kinda cool swimming with so many fishes. and there's this type of small fishes the size half of your last finger, duno what's their name. there where like ZILLIONS of them man. lol. not forgetting a couple of halfbeaks & parrotfishes. other than the huge number of fishes here, nothing beats the previous snorkling place.

went back to our resort and snorkled on our own. me and alvin saw a school of silver monos slacking on the seabed lol. 3 layers them, lining up like a fence. damn funny. went for teabreak and slacked for a few hours more before dinner.

then suddenly yongquan realised he lost the key to our room. we had to get a spare key from the counter and gotta pay RM$50 for the lost key.

went for dinner, woah good food finally! bbq food session, spammed like crazy. imagine this is the nicest meal you're ever going to have here. lol. bbq sambal fish, lamb chop, chicken wings, hotdogs, bee hoon, fried rice, potato and duno what else, can't remember.

after dinner we carried on the Infernal Affairs saga. that's about the time the 刘德华 joke started. lol. keng lun suddenly became 刘德华 by popular demand and the joke went on for even until now? lol. all of us were laughing our ass off in the room. those who walked past our unit must be like 'what the shit is going on in there?'. haha. after Infernal Affairs 2 & 3 we went to sleep, with the faulty aircon. dammit.

Day 4(6/4/09)
Happy 3 Years Anniversary my love, thanks for letting me go on this trip. i love you! :D

today's the last day of fun as we will be leaving tomorrow morning. went for scuba diving after breakfast.

slacked in the room, walked around the outside and soon it was dinner time. after dinner, the people at the counter told us some guy found our room key! heng man. lucky yongquan, he no longer gotta pay the extra RM$50 for the charge of the lost key. hah. went over to the souvenir shop and got ourselves some souvenir T-Shirts.

went over to the pub and got ourselves some carlsbergs.

sat and drank for awhile before we went for a walk, and hunted for Bioluminescent Ostracods - a kind of Firefleas/Sea firefly.

here's a piece of info from the net about Bioluminescent Ostracods:
Bioluminescent Ostracods (also know as Firefleas/Sea firefly) Found at front beach of Redang Reef Resort, The guide call as blue sand. Ostracods are microscopic crustaceans, typically 0.2mm to 2mm long but are readily fossilised and can occur in enormous numbers in some sediments. Ostracods inhabit in aquatic environment use bioluminescence during mating where the males will attract females to them. Males ostracods flash in a sequence as they swim to attract females. Bioluminescence is blue colour because all colors of light do not transmit equally through ocean water, so if the purpose of bioluminescence is to provide a signal that is detected by other organisms, then it is important that the light be transmitted through seawater. Blue light transmits best through seawater.

anyway, yea, we found some. pretty nice. like blue in colour glow-in-the-dark sand. too tiny for pictures. after that, it's time to sleep. the night scenery was dam nice man.

Day 5(7/4/09)
time to leave. woke up in a hurry. didn't know we were leaving at 8am. luckily Uncle Alan woke us up at 7.15am. packed everything up in a rush, ate breakfast in a rush. me and yongquan had a heavy meal after hearing we would only have lunch after 5-6hours. lol.

again, 1 hour of ferry ride before boarding the coach. and our lunchtime was delayed for 2 hours. damn hungry. supposed to have lunch at 1pm but we only reached there at 3pm.

sat in bus till sun set. sucks.

by the time we reached Singapore it was like 9+. a very nice trip i would say. and great experiences! hope i would go there again! there were more pictures, but AJ had them in his camera. gotta take from him another time.

after that went to pub at bencoolen st area as usual. alot of singers there. got one guy super suck but still buay bah go sing, act until machiam dam pro. after that got 2 pro singers. really wtf man. one of the woman(keng lun's 梦中情人. private joke. lol.) sang very well man omg. she looks like one fat and ugly toad but omg, 人不可貌相. ahaha. managed to catch the last bus home.
